A stash of cigarettes were stolen in an overnight raid on the BP garage in Hindhead last Saturday.

Police say they received a report of a burglary at the petrol station on Portsmouth Road at around 4.30am.

“A number of cigarette packets were stolen,” said a police spokesman.

“If you saw anything suspicious in the area at that time, or have any information which may help our investigation, please contact us on 101 quoting 0118 of 1014.”
