Interest is building in a forthcoming talk in a Steep school that promises an amazing insight into architecture.

Hal Currey, Victoria Pike and Julia Chance will return to Bedales this Tuesday, April 30, to discuss their journey from A-Level design to world-class architecture.

The 7.30pm talk will be chaired by fellow Old Bedalian Will Hardie, co-presenter of George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces and founder of Studio Hardie.

The aforementioned trio are now key players in the UK architectural scene but their journey started 40 years ago in Bedales when they collaborated on an A-Level project to reconfigure the cloisters of Portsmouth Cathedral.

The guests will discuss their different routes into architecture and examples from their own practices.

Expect conversations ranging from buildings in King’s Cross Central, The Sky Pool and Good Luck Hope to discussions on inspiring the next generation of architects through university lecturing and architectural workshops in schools and studio. Entry to the talk is free.
