POLICE investigating an unprovoked assault in Liss that left a 67-year-old man with a broken eye socket have made an arrest.
A 31-year-old man was arrested early this morning (Friday, October 27) on suspicion of wounding with intent.
The arrest was made in connection to an assault on Liss Riverside Railway Walk on Monday, October 9.
The victim was assaulted from behind while walking along the trail at 7.30pm.
The suspect remains in police custody while investigations continue.
