AN ENTREPRENEURIAL youngster from Liphook has taken a step closer to ‘The Land of Fire’ after setting up a stall at the village market.
Kasia Sosin (pictured above) used the last Liphook Village Market of 2018 to raise funds for her forthcoming educational trip to Azerbaijan, a former republic of the Soviet Union.
The Bohunt School student cooked up a treat for visitors as she sold a range of homemade cakes along with sweet jars, seasonal hot chocolate sticks and attractive jewellery.
Kasia, who plays the flute and is training as a ballerina, is one of three Bohunt students who used the market to raise funds for educational trips abroad during the last year. More are likely to follow in their footsteps over the next 12 months with the next market due to take place in the Millennium Hall off Ontario Way on Saturday, February 9.
The market is held on the second Saturday of each month from February through to December and features an impressive range of artisan and homemade products.
Cards, cakes, preserves, photography, jewellery, cheese, furnishings, gift baskets and ice cream are among the many items that are typically available.
