BURITON village hall is being used again after being flooded, but it may have to close for repair work.
Ground water poured into the parish council-owned hall during torrential downpours about three weeks ago, damaging floor coverings, the kitchen and toilets.
Storage space had to be emptied and dehumidifer dryers brought in to dry the building out.
Council chairman Karen White said: "The main hall floor covering is vinyl on concrete and the vinyl is starting to come up.
"The hall is being used at the moment but it may have to close again for new floor covering to go down."
