Students brought the festive spirit to the community as they sung a selection of carols for their neighbours.
Exactly a week to go before Christmas Day, Clanfield Junior School pupils went across the road to bring some early festive joy to the residents at Swallow Court.
Among the favourites was Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, which had residents joining in and pretending to play instruments during the musical break and classics such as Jingle Bells.
Phil, one of the residents, said: “It was absolutely fantastic with beautiful singing and it has made our day!”
Head Teacher Kate Dawkins commented how lovely it was for the children to perform for the residents and that they will be back again soon.
Before leaving, the children received chocolate gifts from Swallow Court’s site manager Mary O’Rourke as a thank you.
