An exciting programme of live music has been composed by supporters of a village church near Petersfield.
The hills around Buriton will be alive with the sound of music this weekend as St Mary’s will showcase the timeless work of Ludwig van Beethoven.
Villagers who fancy going Deutsch will be treated to An Afternoon with Beethoven from 2.30pm this Sunday, March 30.
Alex Poulton and Piers Burton-Page will be the baritone and reader, respectively, with Valentina Seferinova on pino and Mikhail Lezdkan on cello.
Light refreshments will be served after the concert, which is free to attend with a retiring collection to help with the church’s upkeep.
Similar events and performances take place in the church throughout the year.
