HAMPSHIRE County Council (HCC) has pledged to spend £3.6m on primary school places in the Liphook area.
The announcement was made in HCC's finalised budget from April 2015.
It was confirmed at a HCC children's services decision day that a scheme is being developed to provide for an additional 210 primary places to serve the Liphook area, and it is recommended that the scheme by incorporated into the 2016/17 programme at an estimated cost of £3.6m (including fees).
A detailed report on the scheme to provide for the additional places in the Liphook area is set to be brought to a future HCC children's services decision day.
