CROSSOVER Youth Centre in Liss is celebrating after winning the Inspiring Places award at the Hampshire Association of Local Councils (HALC) Village of the Year 2017 awards presentation evening.

The youth centre had been selected as an example of good practice, following a visit from the HALC Village of the Year judges in the summer.

Crossover Youth Centre manager Georgina Leigh said: “Our presentation at the awards evening was really well received and it was a very pleasant surprise to win the award.

“Many thanks to all our wonderful staff, volunteers, trustees and young people for making Crossover the amazing award-winning place that it is.”
