POLICE investigating a spate of burglaries around Petersfield town centre are keen to track down a cyclist.

Some £300 in cash was stolen when The Black Sheep was burgled around 4.30am last Wednesday, August 23.

There were a further four attempted burglaries between midnight and 6am with Super Franks, Mackarness & Lunt and Little Leaf Café on the High Street being targeted along with John Peter & Company.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw a man riding a bicycle in the area overnight, anyone with information should call 101 quoting reference 44230341436.
