TWENTY four trees donated and decorated by schools, clubs and businesses will be the centrepiece of West Meon Christmas Tree Festival and Mini-Market.
Taking place over the weekend of December 12 and 13 at St John’s Church, the popular annual event will feature the trees decorated to reflect the interests of the donors.
The schools and Cubs are creating their own works of art, while The Garden Club and Allotment Association will be making their own ‘trees’.
There will be plenty of Christmas gifts for sale, including jams, chutneys, cards and pictures.
Raffle prizes include a free range turkey and other items for a traditional Christmas dinner.
All proceeds will go towards the up keep of the church. Admission is free.
The church is open on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm, with a carol service at 4.15pm on both days.
