Visitors to Hogmoor Inclosure can explore the history of the site by following a new brass rubbing trail.
It is on the Gilbert White route, with 12 images to find and rub. The route takes in features of the site, with a brass rubbing booklet available from Café Hogmoor providing information about each image and the context.
First on the trail were the 1st Headley Beavers and the Jubilee Squirrels, who were guided by Deadwater Valley Trust community ranger Julie Reid. She said: “The children had a great time collecting all of the images and sharing their knowledge of the natural world.”
