THE FRIENDS of Liphook Junior School’s dog show and duck race was held at Radford Park on Saturday.
Dogs and their owners competed, many in a number of different classes, from the just-for-fun happiest/waggiest and look-a-like categories to the trickier agility and obedience categories.
Dog trainer and behaviour specialist Kiri Downes, of Paws in the Pink, judged the competition. The best in show trophy was won by Danielle from Liphook Junior School with her dog Benji.
Meanwhile, 300 ducks raced in heats down the river before crossing the finishing line under the bridge. The duck race final saw the first, second and third ducks from each of eight heats compete.
All winners were children, with the first prize of £25 going to Evelyn from Liphook Infant School, and £15 went to runner-up Jessica of Liphook Infant School.
More than £900 was raised on the day.
