BOHUNT School students Lewis McGarr and Elise Hutton have been offered two-year internships at Tante Marie Culinary Academy in Woking.
Lewis and Elise should start the internships in September. Tante Marie Culinary Academy managing director, Andrew Maxwell, said: “At the academy we love getting involved with local schools to generally promote food and hospitality as a rewarding career path.
“We’ve had a great relationship with Bohunt School for several years and have found their students to be mature beyond their years, showing a real interest in their own futures, from an early age.
“Lewis and Elise made a great impression when they came to visit and we were delighted to be able to offer them opportunities to train at Tante Marie Culinary Academy. Their passion for food, combined with their maturity in considering their career options, caught our eye and we look forward to providing them with the best possible platform from which to launch exciting careers in food.
“The two-year internship is the best training we offer at Tante Marie but is limited to a select few spaces every few years. That we’ve found two students from Bohunt is testament to the standards it clearly sets its students.”
