Get set for some light entertainment as advice on keeping the spark alive will be dispensed by a touring comedian at the Phoenix Theatre in Bordon this Friday (December 6).
Robin Morgan will make a flying visit to the Station Road venue with his new show, The Spark.
Morgan’s latest tour is his biggest to date with the Mock The Week and News Quiz regular pondering over a pattern familiar with many married couples.
Having grappled with a proposal, marriage, children and a vasectomy in previous shows, you might think divorce would be next on the list. But it’s not, and the show focuses on how to keep the spark alive – not just in marriage but also in yourself.
Robin’s shows have always been about other people, but he’s decided it’s finally time to focus on himself.
Described as a “bloody funny, well-written and hard-working” stand-up by industry figures, the “massively likeable performer” is being touted for nationwide fame.
So here’s a great chance to catch him before he makes the step up to bigger venues.
The show will begin at 8pm with doors opening 30 minutes beforehand, tickets priced £14 to include a £1 booking fee through www.phoenixarts.co.uk/whats-on
