Unravel – the festival of yarn – will be held at the Farnham Maltings from February 24 to 26.
The festival, which is 15 years old this year, celebrates knitting, crochet, spinning and weaving.
It welcomes makers and creatives for a unique community craft experience with opportunities to participate in a special community project, watch live demonstrations and browse an array of beautiful works on display.
Craft co-ordinator and event manager Madeleine Harding said: “Unravel is a magical festival and we’re thrilled to share a love of yarn with the community of knitters, crocheters and fibre enthusiasts who join us every year.”
Interim Maltings chief executive Emma Haigh added: “Celebrating 15 years of Unravel is an immense achievement and a shining example of what we have come to do so well, recognising a need and an opportunity and meeting it with passion and creativity.”
At the heart of the festival is the marketplace which showcases an array of independent producers and hand-dyed yarns from the UK, Europe and beyond.
Unravel is open from 9am to 5pm on February 24 and 25, and from 10am to 4pm on February 26. Tickets cost £14 on the door or £12 in advance at [email protected]
