GREATHAM Primary School’s Christmas Fayre was a roaring success, say organisers.
The fayre was organised by the Friends of Greatham School (FROGS).
FROGS chairman Iain Callaghan said: “We have raised just over £4,000 and the feedback from people at the fayre was very positive, with lots of activities for parents and kids.
“We had farm animals, craft stalls from handmade gifts to wine tasting from a local producer, mulled wine, and a cafe crew selling homemade cakes and cheese straws, teas and coffees. The barbecue team were busy cooking freshly made butchers sausages and burgers.”
The next event at Greatham Primary School is its Christmas Carol concert and Bake Off on December 18. Everyone is welcome.
The Salvation Army will play Christmas hymns and there will also be a cake baking and decorating contest.
