PUPILS from West Meon Primary School will present the opening ceremony at 3pm on Saturday for a village family fun day on the recreation ground.

The event, featuring games, sideshows, live music, sports and a barbecue will come to a close at 11pm with a fireworks display.

On Sunday, villagers are invited to take a picnic to the ground, and watch a cricket match at 2pm.

Tea tent and bar will be available.
