A councillor has urged residents to get snapping to ease a hole load of misery on Petersfield’s streets.

Complaints about potholes were once again raised to county councillor, Rob Mocatta, when Petersfield Town Council met last Thursday.

“We don’t have potholes on Durford Road, we have bunkers,” said mayor, Cllr Lesley Farrow while Cllr John Lees suggested one on The Avenue is “big enough for a dog to fit in”.

Cllr Mocatta urged people to report potholes through Hampshire County Council’s ‘OurHants’ app or by searching for ‘potholes’ on the HCC website.

He said: “The more people that report it, the more likely it’s going to be done so I encourage residents to take a picture on their phone and upload it.”
