GREATHAM Primary School’s Christmas Fayre was a roaring success, say organisers.
The fayre was organised by the Friends of Greatham School (FROGS) and was held on Saturday afternoon.
FROGS chairman Jo Smith said: “The fayre went well and raised over £5,000, which is up on last year. The money will go towards upgrading the IT equipment.
“We had a good turnout and we had 30 local craft stalls, a Santa’s grotto, Mill Cottage Farm Experience and lots of ceramic painting with Firing Earth.
“The tombola made over £600, and items were donated by the children.
“I would like to thank the local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle and our sponsors.”
