PETERSFIELD Christmas Market saw the town at its post-pandemic liveliest, with dozens of stalls selling food, drink and Christmas presents, and festive goodies like turkeys.
Shops stayed open throughout market day Sunday, the farmers’ market was in town, and buskers, singers and bands entertained the crowds, while pubs around The Square and down the High Street were packed.
Joint organiser Steve Jacob of Hometown Festivals said: “I guess the town really came out for the first time since the first lockdown last year. "Everyone was happy – it was a real feel-good event with a buzzing atmosphere."
