A CREATIVE director at Salisbury Cathedral will give an inspiring demonstration with a green theme to flower arrangers in Petersfield tomorrow (Wednesday).
Michael Bowyer MBE will give a special “foam free” floral demonstration at St Peter’s church hall at 10am.
Blocks of floral foam are often used in large displays but they contain microplastics which take hundreds of years to degrade.
Altough some new bio-foams have appeared on the market, they still have a negative impact on the environment.
Michael’s talk, which will be followed by an afternoon workshop, aims to encourage people to use other mechanics to achieve beautiful displays without harming the environment.
