An acclaimed drone photographer from Petersfield has taken this highly impressive aerial shot of a tractor auction in the Meon Valley.

Chris Gorman of Big Ladder Photography has been hitting the road a lot recently with drone footage of vineyards and cliff erosion in East Sussex and Dorset making the national press.

But his eye in the sky stayed closer to home last weekend as this aerial footage was taken during the West Meon Collective auction last Saturday, April 20.

The event at the Crossroads Saleground attracted more than 300 buyers with auctions for tractors, farm machinery, vehicles and trailers.

Nursery stock, plant machinery, tools and garden statuary all went under the hammer with the event representing a treasure trove for buyers of vintage agricultural vehicles.

Mr Gorman’s drone footage of the covers coming off at Petersfield Open Air Swimming Pool has also been used to promote its reopening this Saturday (April 27).
