A Waterlooville business has helped raise £14,000 for a hospice charity.
On November 6, fundraising team members Holly and Victoria from St Wilfrid’s Hospice visited Jim Stokes Workshops (JSW).
They received the cheque for the money that the historic & classic car specialist had raised through guided workshop tours and their annual classics & coffee Sunday morning classic car meet.
Founder and managing director Jim Stokes said: “Every year we try to raise a little more for St Wilfrid’s and this year has seen us achieve a fantastic total in support of such a wonderful organisation.”
Holly added: “We are thrilled with the total collected by JSW in the course of the year.”
Next year, JSW will continue fundraising with the return of classics & coffee in the summer and other events throughout the year. JSW is a world renowned restorer of historic and classic cars and is particularly known for specialising in the pre-war Alfa Romeo.
