Deadwater Valley Trust is celebrating after Hogmoor Inclosure in Bordon was awarded the Site Of The Year prize in green space charity The Land Trust’s annual awards.

Hogmoor Inclosure was recognised for improvements to its play area, installation of a brass rubbing trail and provision of a Tramper mobility vehicle for hire to help people access the site.

Staff and volunteers came together for a tea and cake celebration after their weekly work party on July 3.

Senior ranger Jamie Cummins said: “We could not do everything we do without the support and hard work of our volunteers so it was only fitting that we shared the celebrations with them – and there is always time for cake!”
