People who attend a milestone meeting in Horndean will be put in the loop about a green scheme to bring the parish together.
A date has been set for Horndean’s Annual Parish Meeting with the event taking place in Jubilee Hall on Monday, April 22.
The 7pm meeting is a chance for residents to ask questions and raise issues about “matters of concern” in the parish.
The meeting will include a presentation about Horndean Parish Council’s draft plan for 2024/25 and their work over the last year, along with updates from district and county councillors.
A presentation by Urban Place Labs about the Horndean Green Trail and Heritage Network and the work carried out so far should be one of the highlights of the meeting.
The trail is effectively a loop that will link Horndean, Catherington and Blendworth, taking in swathes of countryside, sites of natural and heritage interest, local businesses and existing local and long-distance paths.
