IN HER highly-anticipated new show, Mock the Week’s Ellie Taylor muses on being trapped in a dreadfully happy marriage.

Her show is an hour’s look at that pesky bit of marriage known as monogamy and what effect not having, what anthropologists would call ‘a slaggy period’, will have on her union.

Needless to say, her husband’s delighted.

Ellie, who is a star of BBC’s Mock the Week, BBC1’s The John Bishop Show, Radio 4’s The Now Show and Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats, calls in at The Phoenix in Bordon on a nationwide tour.

Her debut show, at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival, Elliementary, was a critically-acclaimed hit, tackling all the hot potatoes of the time – Russian foreign policy, Matalan, Sinitta and more. Hard-hitting topics delivered with guile by one of the hottest new acts around.

The show was a sell-out, leading to a UK tour.

Earlier this year she found herself at the centre of a national media storm having satirically taken on a viral Facebook campaign The Motherhood Challenge, with her The Non-Motherhood Challenge.
