Post Office scandal victim and campaigner Jo Hamilton has received an OBE in the King’s New Years Honours list for services to justice.

The former South Warnborough Post Office sub-postmaster isn’t the only Alton-area name to be recognised as Alan Titchmarsh has also been recognised for services to horticulture and charity.

Alresford charity founders and thespians James and Surrey Parish have also been given MBEs while people from Rowlands Castle, Clanfield and the Meon Valley are also in the list.
