AFTER making a bid for funds from the Chairman’s Year of Music project Langrish Primary School was awarded money with which they bought Djembe drums.

The grant came via the Hampshire Music Service, and pupils from across the school in Ramsdean Lane enjoyed playing them during the schools recent Cultural Day.

In addition, Friends of Langrish School association kindly topped up the bid so that the school could purchase glockenspiels which for use in the school’s weekly music lessons.
