A RADIO show made in Petersfield has been named among the UK’s most popular gardening podcasts.
Growing Together with Ann-Marie Powell and Claire Vennis is a monthly gardening show produced by Petersfield’s volunteer run radio station, Shine Radio.
Ann-Marie is an award winning professional garden designer, television presenter, journalist and author, based at Heath Farm off Heath Road East.
And Claire of Langrish is an ‘amateur’ gardener, and volunteer presenter with Shine Radio.
The programme marks its first anniversary by being included in the Feedspot Reader list of top gardening shows, alongside lavishly resourced productions from the RHS and the BBC’s Gardeners’ Question Time.
Ann-Marie said: “Wow. Honoured that our podcast is amongst such esteemed company.”
Claire added: “It’s a total joy to make this show every month and we’re thrilled that so many people are getting so much pleasure from it.”
Growing Together is aimed squarely at listeners in Petersfield and surrounding villages.
But since it began last year, it has attracted an army of fans across the UK who keenly follow the changes in Ann-Marie and Claire’s gardens month-by-month.
