GOVERNOR Clare Parsons and Year 1 leader Sue Powney at Petersfield Infant School have been praised for completing the Manchester Marathon.

After they finished the 26.2-mile run around the northern city, a school spokesman said: “Staff, parents and pupils at the school are all extremely proud of them.”
