More than 50 current and former Scouters attended the 3rd Alton Scout HQ for a surprise afternoon tea for Monica ‘Mon’ Spiers to receive the Chief Scout’s 50 Year Service Award for her work in Rotherfield district.

Mon has been an Assistant Cub Leader, Assistant Scout Leader, District Fellowship member, District Scout Active Support member, and District Badge Secretary from 1978 to 2020. Deputy District Commissioner Malcolm Vincent presented the award.
