SHOPPERS at Morrisons in Swan Street, Petersfield, will notice a big change from next week.

The store will close as Morrisons at 5pm on Sunday (October 25) and reopen as My Local at 11am on Monday (October 26).

The new My Local company has taken over 140 Morrisons supermarkets around the country.

Staff, who have all been kept on, will clear the shelves and replenish with Nisa products.

Assistant manager Nikki Raxworthy said it was “very exciting”. The store will also be able too donate more to local charities, she added.
