New dates have been announced for an exhibition by painter, photographer and poet Kate Kennington Steer, who lives with chronic ME and clinical depression.
In the Herald on June 2 her Episodes exhibition at The Farnham Pottery in Pottery Lane, Wrecclesham, was advertised as taking place throughout July, but it has since been put back a fortnight and will now be held from July 14 to August 14.
Kate was diagnosed with ME aged 17 in 1990 and is now a member of the Creative Response arts community. After experiencing unexplained periods of paralysis and seizures throughout her adult life, she was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder in 2019. The digital “one shaky finger paintings” in the exhibition were made during seizures and are her emotional responses to them.
