A new exhibition at Madeleine’s Kitchen in Petersfield delves into nature by viewing it from a different perspective.
‘Uprooted’ by Camilla Flint intends to explore the notion of disrupting an organic form from the environment it grows within. It will run to January 25 and there will be art drawing workshops on January 17 and 22, participants will be able to explore various artistic mediums and create their own abstract works.
Camilla said: “Crucial to the experience of each piece is the deliberate emphasis of foregrounding the subject on a neutral blank background. To inspire an intentional celebration of the instantaneous response to the plant uprooted and therefore effectuating the full poetry of her form to be realised.”
