A new village entry sign in Liss was stolen just hours after its installation on Wednesday, September 7.

The custom-made sign, by Brows Farm, was stolen that same evening and will take up to three months to replace.

It cost Liss Parish Council £2,488 and was funded by Section 106 developers’ contributions.

The council has urged anyone who saw anything suspicious on the night of September 7, to contact the police by calling 101, quoting crime reference number #44220375192, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
