There’s a tasty new course on offer in Petersfield as men’s basic cookery classes are coming to the Winton House Centre.

The High Street charity has joined forces with the Petersfield Men’s Shed and Age Concern Petersfield to offer a block of four monthly classes, with the first starting at 2.30pm on Friday (May 17).

Participants will be given the confidence to create a tasty one-pot meal using fresh ingredients with the support of volunteer cooks.

Trainee chefs will learn how to cook a variety of dishes from spaghetti Bolognese to chicken curry, before enjoying supper with a well-earned accompanying glass of wine or beer.

The cost is a princely £7.50 to cover ingredients with classes taking place on the third Friday on the month.
