AROUND a 100 Petersfield district cubs and leaders renewed their cub promise to celebrate the movement’s 100th birthday.

Cubs from Petersfield, Sheet, Liss, Liphook and East Meon took part in the Centenary evening and fundraising event in Liphook’s Millennium Hall.

Petersfield assistant district commissioner for cubs, Melanie Robinson said: “We raised £166 for Canine Partners assistance dogs, and four Cubs won a raffle to renew their Promise up the climbing wall.

“It was a memorable and enjoyable evening, and we are all looking forward to start of second century of Cub Scouting.”
