GETTING on for 100 Petersfield district Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts, and leaders from Petersfield, Sheet, Liss, Liphook and the Meon Valley, renewed their Scouting promises on Petersfield Heath to celebrate St George’s Day. Families and friends also enjoyed the evening, which included a camp fire sing song, a barbecue, and prayers led by East Meon vicar, the Rev Jane Ball. With help from camp fire sing-a-long leader Mark Preston, she also re-enacted the story of the saint.
