A senior physiotherapist at Petersfield Community Hospital has gone to great heights to improve patient care.

Imogen Scott Plummer recently made a great leap for Brighterway as she abseiled down Spinnaker Tower alongside 30 Southern Health NHS employees.

The charity is dedicated to enhancing patient and community-based care at one of the largest mental health trusts in the country. It develops gardens and green spaces to promote wellbeing and providing peaceful and serene places for patients and staff outside their clinical settings.

It aims to “support the health and wellbeing of patients and staff” while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, community-based care beyond the NHS budget.

Imogen’s abseil down the Portsmouth landmark followed a couch to 50km fundraiser for Mind UK and Rock2Recovery in May which raised nearly £800.

She hopes to raise £500 from her latest fundraiser, to make a donation look for Imogen Scott Plummer at www.justgiving.com
