Petersfield Lions Club would like to thank the people of Petersfield for supporting our fundraising projects so generously over Christmas.

Spokesman Trevor Copping said: “Our High Street collection on December 14 raised £299.

“Including our Tesco collection, envelope collections, tombola’s, online contributions and other donation’s, in total £4,331 was raised during the festive period.

“This will enable us to support those in fuel poverty, food banks and to help those in need in the Petersfield area at a time when those less fortunate are in genuine need.

“We also provided funding for some Christmas parcels for the elderly.”
