Officers investigating an attempted burglary in Petersfield are appealing for information from the public to assist with their inquiries.

Shortly after 12.05am on Thursday 7 November, entry was gained to the garden and shed of a property on Highfield Road, although nothing was taken.

Police would like to speak with two men who were seen in the area at the time and may have information relevant to the case.

Both men are white, between the ages of 20 and 25, of slim build, with brown hair and were wearing light grey tracksuit bottoms, dark grey hoodies, black shoes and black gloves. 

One of the men is described as being roughly 6ft tall, while the other is about 5ft 10in.

Anyone who recognises these descriptions, or who saw two individuals matching them in the area during the early hours of Thursday morning is urged to contact the police.

Police have carrying out CCTV enquiries in the area, but are keen to hear from anyone who has Ring Doorbell, CCTV or dash-cam footage that may have captured the two men in the area.
