A CCTV image has been released of a man suspected of stealing a £800 bike from outside a Petersfield superstore.

The culprit broke a lock to steal the bike from a rack outside The Causeway Tesco around 4pm on Monday, September 2.

Hampshire Police would like to speak to the pictured man as part of their investigation.

He is described as a white man in his 20s with ginger hair and beard, who wearing grey joggers and a black hoody with MAX written on it.

Meanwhile, police have praised security staff at a town centre store for their part in the arrest of a suspected thief wanted around the UK.
