Florist friends Hannah Dye and Kate Bellamy are celebrating the success of the pop-up flower shop they ran at Printy Banana in Alton.

Their St Valentine’s Day store burst into bloom last Saturday and continued until Tuesday, when only a few of their beautiful own-grown, locally-grown or ethically-sourced creations remained.

It wasn’t just those struck by Cupid’s arrow who visited – the duo celebrated friendship on Monday with a Galentine’s Day workshop at which people could enjoy Prosecco and make a flower crown.

Kate and Hannah first dreamt of working together with flowers in Rowledge – aged four!

They will be at the Alton Craft Market on March 11 with seasonal flowers and gifts.
