An acclaimed nursing home on the edge of Petersfield is opening its doors to the public.

Steep House Nursing Home will mark Care Home Open Week by holding an Open Day next Thursday, June 27.

Visitors will get the chance to meet the home’s dedicated team, discover its facilities, and learn more about the experiences it offers.

The open event will take place at the Tilmore Road property from 11am to 4.30pm with no booking necessary.

“We would like to invite any members of the local community who would like to come and visit and have a look around our lovely home,” said a spokesperson.

“Whether you’re considering a respite stay or simply curious, we welcome you to explore and ask any questions.”

The annual Care Home Open Week runs from June 24 to 30 and celebrates the “valuable contributions of care homes to their communities”.
