Petersfield Community Garden has been awarded a Gold Medal in the Stations in Bloom competition 2022.

Community garden volunteers plant up and care for the vegetable, flower and herb planters at the station.

The planters were installed with the support of East Hampshire Community Rail Partnership.

A community garden spokesman said: “The Free Shop at the station hub and other passers by have picked the herbs and vegetables.

“The hot summer needed a watering roster, most plants survived.

“Come and join us when the weather improves.”
