Alton charity shop Resurrection Furniture has donated £5,000 to St Michael’s Hospice.

The hospice’s nurses, doctors and therapists give free and compassionate end of life care and support.

But only 16 per cent of its funding requirements are met by the NHS.

Resurrection Furniture’s donation will help St Michael’s Hospice provide home visits, telephone calls, therapy sessions, and treatments and care in a specialised unit.
