Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have 12 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M27, from midnight, June 26 to 11.59pm August 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): abnormal Load Movement, Gosport to Ipswich.

And a further 11 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A3, from 8pm July 10 to 6am July 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3M northbound, junction 2, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A3, from 8pm July 10 to 6am July 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

• A3, from 9pm July 10 to 6am July 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Sheet, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A3, from 9pm July 14 to 6am July 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Sheet to Liss, Lane closures for drainage work.

• A3, from 8pm July 17 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Griggs Green to Longmoor, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A3, from 9pm July 17 to 6am July 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for drainage works, diversion via Highways England network.

• A3, from 8pm July 19 to 6am July 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Griggs Green to Longmoor, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A27, from 8pm July 20 to 6am July 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A27 clockwise Harts Farm Way Roundabout, carriageway and lane closure for drainage works.

• A3, from 8pm July 21 to 6am July 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Liphook, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A3, from 8pm July 24 to 6am July 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Portsmouth Road Hazel Grove, slip road closures for Surrey County Council works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A3, from 8pm July 24 to 6am July 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Liphook, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
