Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A3, from 8pm November 11 to 6am November 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3M northbound, junction 2 to Berelands, carriageway closure for roadmarkings renewal.
• A3, from 9pm November 11 to 6am November 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Thursley, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.
• M3, from 9pm November 11 to 6am November 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 5, slip road and hard shoulder closure for maintenance work.
• A3, from 8pm November 18 to 6am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance.
• A3(M), from 9pm November 20 to 6am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3(M) both directions, junction 2, exit and entry slip road closures for Scottish and Southern Electricity works.
• A3, from 9.30pm November 22 to 6am November 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Ham Barn to Liphook, slip road and lane closures for maintenance work.
• A3, from 8pm November 25 to 6am November 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
