A BY-ELECTION has been called for the Rogate ward after the resignation from Chichester District Council of the ward councillor Gillian Keegan, who is also the Member of Parliament for Chichester.

It will take place on Thursday, April 12, and votes can be cast in the village hall from 7am to 10pm

Poll cards will be sent to all registered electors and requests for postal votes must be received by the council before 5pm on Monday, March 26.

Candidates must have their nominations with the council after Wednesday, March 7, and before 4pm on Wednesday, March 14.

Nomination forms can be obtained from the elections office at the council offices in East Pallant House.
